What?
Moral Chain of Custody (MCC), is a publishing and recording company with
two complementary goals. The goals are to promote new art and music; as
well as to accelerate humanitarian efforts and sustainable development.
Why?
MCC is a company that is committed to romantic optimism.
How?
The goals will be accomplished through the production and distribution of
music produced by MCC artists. A large percentage of cassettes and
compact discs produced by MCC will be designated as "Chain
Discs" and distributed to the public free of charge. Through the
passing of chain discs, recipients are challenged to contribute something
positive (time, needed resources, words of encouragement) to a cause of
their choice in exchange for experiencing the music. Upon completion of
this action, the disc should be passed on in order to continue the cycle.
Chain discs are not to be sold or kept for long periods of time.
Volume I, Recycle Love is an introduction to this idea. Chain discs
are not intended to solicit money by curse of gimmick. MCC will not accept
financial contributions or attempt to direct listeners to any specific cause.
Each positive action shall be decided by the respective listener. All MCC
projects are available through direct purchase and mail order. MCC
believes that we can accomplish something incredibly positive.
